Making Diversity Simple

The last decade or so has seen a growth in the number of rules, regulations and guidance on the topic of diversity,  equality and inclusion. The diversity arena is constantly changing. For example, language that was “OK” 20 years ago is now deemed offensive. Procedures that once were considered good practice are now frowned upon. And recent UK demographic changes give rise to new challenges and opportunities.

This workshop will give participants a good introduction to the topic of equality, diversity. and inclusion. It is highly interactive, with plenty of opportunity to ask questions and debate issues. Overall, this workshop provides a good grounding in diversity. It is suitable for people who are relatively new to the topic or activists who are “expert” in their strand but want to know more about other less familiar forms of discrimination.
